When we moved into our home, this carpet covered most of the flooring. What wasn’t covered my carpet, was covered by:

Tile. Not too bad of a style, and honestly – it was in really good shape. But it definitely dated the house. We felt like we were still living in the previous owner’s home, and not our own.

Just a few more examples of the carpet/tile situation we had going on. Dark green in the main bedroom, cream-colored carpet everywhere else except the loft… We’re still unsure of the coloring here. Sage green? There were a LOT of pink spots, which we assumed was sun bleached.

We looked at hardwood, vinyl, luxury plank vinyl, wood-look tile… You name it, we explored the options. We ultimately decided on using Dawn Patrol by Cali Flooring – An LVP. We felt it would be best for dog/cat claws, ease of installation, and overall cost.

The stairs in the loft were the trickiest part – Having to build up the backs of each step to keep the width of each step as wide as possible

Overall, this floor has such a clean, Scandinavian style look. A white oak LVP dupe!

The best example I have of a clear before/after.
